Strategic and Transformative Leadership

Develop, Differentiate, and Execute a Strategic Vision

Experienced leaders know it's not enough to see the big picture. To turn their visions into reality, they must be able to create actionable plans that can be easily communicated and effectively executed.  In this 8-hour course, participants will walk through every step of this journey – from development through implementation – over the course of two instructor-led online workshops.

Developing Change and Transformation Strategies

The first workshop will focus on developing transformation strategies including transformation-specific objectives, defining, and designing a change-driven strategy, communicating to stakeholders at all levels, and changing or pivoting when necessary. Special attention will be paid to ensuring a strategy development approach that can ultimately move into execution easily. Participants will showcase their thinking as an outcome.

Differentiating and Aligning Strategic and Tactical Execution

The second workshop explores the distinctions and synergies between strategic and tactical execution. Building off work done in “Developing Change and Transformation Strategies,” the focus is on how to operationalize a strategy into a plan of action that is manageable, trackable, maintains focus on both day-to-day and big picture objectives, and examines the reality of troubleshooting obstacles to delivery.
