Lecturer (Part Time)
Required Qualifications National and/or international reputation as an outstanding oboist, experienced in
the solo, chamber music and orchestral repertoire. Excellence as an oboist in the
performance of classical music. Experience as a performer of contemporary classical
music
Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching undergraduates, masters, and doctoral oboists. Experience coaching
chamber music. Experience performing Baroque music. Demonstrated success recruiting
undergraduate and graduate oboists.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Special Notes This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime
provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2018.
