Required Qualifications
MD/DO degree. Completion of Emergency Medicine residency. Board Certification/Eligibility
in Emergency Medicine. Eligible for/current New York State license
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate teaching, research and administrative/committee experience.
Responsibilities & Requirements
The selected candidate will be responsible for serving as attending physician providing
clinical coverage of Stony Brook University Hospital Emergency Medicine, teaching
and supervising residents and medical students, contributing to successful research
programs and providing service in an administrative capacity as required.
Special Notes
This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime
provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
