Linda Galvin is a Senior Financial and Business Systems Manager for the Research Foundation of SUNY at Stony Brook. She leads the Intellectual Property Partners' Operations & Finance unit.

Linda stepped into her current expanded role in January 2022. She manages the Administration of SBU IPP Minuet Business Tracking system. She supports special projects to incorporate work flow in Minuet and maximizes the analytics we can derive from our operational metrics. 

 She originally joined our office in September 2006 as a Senior Administrative Assistant. Prior to working here, Linda spent ten years in the Banking Industry’s, Internal Audit and Controller’s Division providing support to accounting system implementation projects.

 Linda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Finance, from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1989. She received her Master of Business Administration - Banking & Finance from Dowling College in 1996.

She volunteers as the Treasurer for the National Academy of Inventor’s - Stony Brook Chapter and is a member of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM). She was a co-presenter for AUTM classes related to Financial Administration, Budgeting, Forecasting and Post Contract Administration.
