SUNY Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence Honor 23 Faculty and Staff
Twenty-three members of Stony Brook University’s faculty and staff have received the 2021-2022 State University of New York (SUNY) Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence.
The awards acknowledge the dedication and accomplishments of instructional faculty, librarians and professional staff across SUNY campuses and encourage the ongoing pursuit of excellence. These programs underscore SUNY’s commitment to sustaining intellectual vibrancy, advancing the boundaries of knowledge, providing the highest quality of instruction and serving the public good.
The awards provide SUNY-wide recognition in five categories: Faculty Service, Librarianship, Professional Service, Scholarship and Creative Activities, and Teaching.
“I am always heartened when I see the list of our talented faculty and staff who are honored with the SUNY Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence,” said President Maurie McInnis. “The tireless approach they take to their work in higher education, their collaborative efforts, and their dedication to our students and community are a reflection of the difference they make at Stony Brook.
