Subject: Make Your Vote Count - Early Voting Information

Dear Seawolves,

Tomorrow, November 7 is Election Day! Here at Stony Brook, we want to make sure you are able to successfully participate in the democratic process. Below, please find important information and resources regarding the election:

Polling locations in New York will be open tomorrow from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. You can check your voter registration status and find your polling location on the Voter Lookup website

If you are registered to vote on main campus and plan to vote in-person on Election Day, you can vote at our on campus polling location in the Union Ballroom, 2nd floor.

For New York State residents who requested an absentee ballot to vote by mail, your ballot must be postmarked to your local Board of Elections no later than Tuesday, November 7. If you need help finding the mailing address for your local Board of Elections office, please contact us for assistance.

The Center for Civic Justice is here to support your voting needs. Please reach out to our office anytime by emailing civicjustice@stonybrook.edu,   or stop by our office located in the Stony Brook Union, Suite L-20.

On Election Day, the Center for Civic Justice team will be located on the Union Patio from 8:00AM to 8:00PM to answer your questions.

All the best,
