UNIVERSITY ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE
2025-2028

Charge: This committee shall examine all aspects of the physical campus environment, including but not limited to conservation of natural areas, ecological preserves and historic sites and artifacts; transportation, parking, human health issues, facilities planning, alternative energy, energy efficiency, recycling, waste management, and general appearance of all campus locations. It will consult with and advise the cognate administrator, the Assistant Vice President for Facilities and Services.

About the Environment Committee:
Our working groups seek to develop smart solutions for issues within our charge.  Our intent is always to build collaborative and constructive relationships with the University Administration.  To that end we regularly invite "special guest" experts and officials to our meetings.  

Guests are welcome at meetings and to recommend the formation of and volunteer in our working groups.
 
Meetings are held virtually over Zoom during Campus Lifetime, Wednesday 1pm - 2:30 pm, generally on the second Wednesday of each month.  Please contact the Chair to receive the Zoom link and be placed on the notification list for future meetings.
