NEW - Federal Regulatory Requirements for Human Subjects Research - Begin January 21st, 2019

Partial Government Shutdown

The Office of Sponsored Programs is closely monitoring a possible impending Government Shutdown. During a shutdown:

- Active grants/contracts may continue work during the shutdown unless further instructed.

- Affected sponsoring agencies may decide not to allow proposal submissions.

-  Delays and/or lack of communication, approvals or administrative support from affected agencies related to your proposals or awards is possible.

- Payments from affected agencies may be temporarily halted.

A list of affected U.S. departments and general guidance for a shutdown are included below.

We will keep you updated via Yammer and our website - News section. Please plan any submissions accordingly and forward any communications received related to the shutdown and your federal awards to osp@stonybrook.edu.
