SBU Parking Permits

We welcome our Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) colleagues to the Stony Brook Campus. As a courtesy, non-student employees of BNL are eligible for a Stony Brook University Faculty/Staff parking permit, which allows you to park in Faculty/Staff parking lots on campus.

As of November 1, 2010, BNL parking permits will no longer be honored as valid parking permits and you will be ticketed. You must have a valid Stony Brook parking permit to park on campus. Permits need to be renewed every two (2) years.

To obtain an Faculty/Staff parking permit you must first be entered into our PeopleSoft system as an affiliate of the University. Please complete the Parking Permit Application and return to Ann Ozelis via email from a valid BNL address (preferred) or fax (631-632-7112) and please include a BNL phone contact.

You will be provided with a Stony Brook ID number, and can use this to apply for a Stony Brook parking permit. You must come in person to Parking Services located at Administration Bldg., 2nd Floor Lobby to obtain the parking permit.
