Stony Brook Stitchers
For more than a decade, the Stony Brook Stitchers have been volunteering their time,
energy and creativity to lovingly create items for those in physical, emotional or
spiritual need. Stony Brook University and Stony Brook University Hospital students
and employees, as well as community groups, are welcome to participate in the Stony
Brook Stitchers. Consider joining the Stony Brook Stitchers if you love knitting,
crocheting, sewing, or quilting!
SB Unique - Art Tour
Take a self-guided tour to explore the art, culture, architecture and hidden gems of Stony Brook
University.

Healthier U is Stony Brook University's wellness initiative for faculty, staff and employees designed to address your total well-being — mind, body and spirit. This program educates,
encourages, and empowers employees to make healthy decisions and lifestyle choices.
Staller Center for the Arts
Long Island's premier arts center offers music, dance, theater, films, the Met Opera
in HD, and art exhibits at the Zuccaire Gallery. This beloved SBU hub offers world-class
live performances and outstanding entertainment located in the heart of the main campus.
Staller also produces the annual Stony Brook Film Festival showcasing new films from
around the world.
Avram Theatre (Southampton)
The 429-seat Avram Theater has been the site of leading artistic events since the
1980s, including readings, dance and musical recitals, operas, theater productions,
and Pianofest, a series of concerts by internationally-acclaimed classical musicians.
Charles B. Wang Center
The Charles B. Wang Center, an integral part of Stony Brook University since 2002,
serves a wide range of audiences by sharing every corner of Asian culture. Thanks
to our diverse cultural programs including exhibits, performances, workshops, lectures,
films, and festivals, visitors do not need a passport to travel to Asia.
Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery
The Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery presents dynamic professional and student exhibitions
in a 5,000 square foot space in the Staller Center for the Arts at Stony Brook University.
Admission is free for all exhibitions, programs, and events and open to the public.

The Café in the Student Center is operated by the Faculty Student Association (FSA)
and offers breakfast and lunch items such as sandwiches, salads, soup and more. All
meals are prepared with locally sourced ingredients.
