Campus Lactation Rooms

With generous support from Stony Brook University’s President’s Office, Chief Diversity Office, and the Renaissance School of Medicine, the Department of Student Community Development and the Office of Student Life is pleased to offer several designated lactation rooms throughout our Stony Brook campus footprint, both on East and West Campus. These lactation rooms are specifically dedicated for the purpose of offering a quiet, comfortable, and private space for breast milk expression and nursing on campus.

Campus Recreation and Wellness

Stony Brook University celebrated the opening of the Campus Recreation Center, a state-of-the-art 85,000 square-foot facility, on October 19, 2012. Located between the Stony Brook Student Union and the Indoor Sports Complex, the new facility is devoted to the health and wellness of Stony Brook students, faculty and staff. It has become the center of activity on campus, averaging more than 2,000 users daily.

Child Care Services

The Center is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., with various shifts available, and serves University, Health Sciences and Medical Center faculty staff and students as well as non-affiliated community families. Affiliated families pay tuition according to a sliding scale based on gross family income.

Duo Tokens

Duo Tokens are keychain fobs that can be used to generate Duo Passcodes for all your Stony Brook Single Sign On Applications. The tokens may be purchased at the FSA Offices (West Side Dining, Second Floor) for $24.00+tax using Wolfie Wallet funds only.

Employee Assistance Program

The EAP provides resources on mental health and wellness, as well as, information, assessment and referral services to employees, their family members and retirees who are experiencing personal, family or work problems that may negatively affect job performance. The EAP does not provide counseling services.

Food Pantry

The Stony Brook University Food Pantry serves community members (students, staff and faculty) who are food insecure, or who are at risk of food insecurity. We are committed to being a reliable and stable supplemental food source while providing resources to overcome food insecurity.

Parking Services

The Office of Parking Services is part of the Student Financial Services Office, which is located in the 2nd floor of the Stony Brook Union, Suite 207. This office provides information about parking, such as how to obtain a parking permit, or information about parking tickets and payments.
