Re-evaluating the edTPA

The edTPA has been adopted as a high stakes, mandatory teacher certification requirement since 2013 by New York State. Based on both administrative and academic data, both quantitative and qualitative data, our research aims to examine the validity, utility and equity associated with the use of edTPA, especially in the context of diversification of the K-12 teaching force.
