VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: “VICTIMS” NEEDED!
The American Red Cross needs volunteers to participate in our Regional Full-Scale Exercise and “act” as disaster victims.
No training or previous experience required - we just ask for your cooperation in making this exercise as realistic as possible!
Actors will play the role of a displaced hurricane victim at a Red Cross hurricane shelter. We rely on actors to create a realistic exercise environment to challenge our volunteers so we can be better prepared for real disasters, like Hurricane Sandy.
Details and direct guidance will be provided both prior to and throughout the exercise. Volunteer actors can be of any age and of all abilities. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
