LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to explain the living world, from molecules to ecosystems, in terms of biological, chemical, and physical theories.

2. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to clearly communicate scientific principles and experimental results, orally and in writing.

3. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to use quantitative and empirical concepts to analyze scientific data, and reasoned argument to draw appropriate conclusions.

4. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to critically evaluate biology knowledge in areas pertaining to human health, the living environment, public policy and a specific discipline in the liberal arts.
