LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to describe the structure and composition of matter.

2. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to plan, execute and properly document the synthesis and characterization of molecular substances including adherence to safety standards.

3. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to apply structural, thermodynamic, and mechanistic principles to the study and description of chemical systems, employing both qualitative and quantitative approaches.

4. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to apply modern instrumentation to the study of the properties of chemical systems.

5. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to effectively communicate chemical information in both a written and oral format.
