LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to perform basic scientific programming.

2. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to understand basic operating systems and computer architectures.

3. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to understand computer algorithms and data structures.

4. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to perform parallel computing including performance analysis.

5. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to understand numerical algorithms for linear, integral and differential equations and optimization.

6. Upon completion of the certificate, students should be able to understand data science including machine learning and elementary statistical and probabilistic approaches.
