LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. The HPEW MA student will have gained expertise in Greek terminology and concept formation and apply this expertise in writing about the original texts of Western philosophy.

2. The HPEW MA student will be able to identify, discuss, and write about key aspects of European Enlightenment philosophy.

3. The HPEW MA student will have gained an interdisciplinary perspective by analyzing and writing about Islamic and European metaphysics from the medieval and/or early modern period.

4. The HPEW MA student will be able to discuss and write about the history and key ideas of Hindu and/or Buddhist philosophy.
