LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. The Philosophy major will be able to analyze primary texts in the history of philosophy and to write concisely and informatively about them.

2. The Philosophy major will be able to analyze and respond critically to historical philosophical texts.

3. The Philosophy major will demonstrate ability to do graduate-level research and participate in presentations and discussions of their work

4. The Philosophy major will display the speaking and writing skills necessary to disseminate philosophical information.
