LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to apply clinical (or advising) skills* to support patients, clients, and/or students’ well-being.[*Depending on student interests/personal goals, clinical/advising skills may include activities such as: conducting phone screens with clients seeking mental health care, co-facilitating mental health group treatment, providing professional support to a clinic, administering assessments, coaching/supervising students, advising students, etc.].

2. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to define and analyze a perceived public welfare concern and develop evidence-supported actions that government might take to address it.

3. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to dynamically apply all learned skills to both real-world research and work scenarios.
