Teaching Writing Advanced Certificate

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Upon completion of the Certificate, students should be able to engage with and analyze a range of rhetorical concepts, themes, and genres relevant to the teaching of writing and to the field of Writing Studies.

2. Upon completion of the Certificate, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge of significant figures, trends, and publications relevant to the teaching of writing and to the field of Writing Studies.

3. Upon completion of the Certificate, students should be able to demonstrate metacognition, confidence, and competence in their own research/pedagogical/interpretive practices.
