Assessment Steps

Assessment is a critical process for developing goals and objectives connected to a curriculum, identifying measures and benchmarks of student achievement, evaluating outcomes and informing continuous improvement for effective student learning. Assessment data and results guide decision-making and demonstrate our commitment to rigorous educational standards. Planning the assessment process should take place as a team, with input from all critical stakeholders.

  • Step 1: Articulating Program Goals & Learning Objectives
  • Step 2: Curriculum Mapping and Selecting Assessment Methods & Metrics
  • Step 3: Setting Benchmarks & Timelines
