Postdoc Fringe Rate for Grants

The Research Foundation of SUNY established a special fringe benefit rate for grant-funded RF Postdoctoral Associates. This rate  is used to budget fringe benefits on grants for employees in the Postdoctoral Associate and Senior Postdoctoral Associate titles, not for postdocs who are appointed in any other title. Although the postdoc fringe rate is typically lower than the regular RF staff employee rate, postdoc fringe benefits include a broader range of health insurance options that are commensurate with RF staff benefits.
