Hazing Prevention
Reporting hazing is everyone’s responsibility and can save a life. A hazing incident may be reported to Stony Brook University by anyone: a person who was directly affected by the activity, a person who was involved in the incident, staff, parents, friends, or community members, or anyone who is generally concerned about a student or group.

Discrimination Or Sexual Misconduct
You may report an allegation of discrimination, including sexual misconduct, directly to OEA. You do not need to first discuss an incident with a supervisor, manager, dean or department or anyone else prior to accessing any of the reporting options below.

Code Violation Reporting
Any member of the University community (student, staff, or faculty) may make a complaint and/or referral or offer information concerning such complaint and/or referral to the appropriate office or person (i.e., Dean of Students, Division of Campus Residences, Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity, Title IX Coordinator, Title IX Deputies, Student Conduct and Community Standards, University Police, etc.).
