Thank you for your interest in the University Scholars Program. The mission of the University Scholars Program at Stony Brook University is to foster community and support students holistically through individualized advising, foundational seminars, and programming centered on the three pillars of leadership, service, and academic excellence.
University Scholars are among the top students academically of the incoming class, and first-year students reside together within Roosevelt Community. The Program runs for four years and enriches students’ undergraduate learning through special symposia, events, Scholars’ student organizations, and outreach activities. University Scholars also enjoy priority registration within their class year.
University Scholars are regularly recognized as leaders and engaged members in the Stony Brook University community and beyond.
