TRANSFER CREDIT EVALUATIONS
Students who are looking to get a transfer course evaluated will need to follow the Transfer Credit Evaluation process.
Before getting a course evaluated, please visit our Transfer Equivalency Database. If the course is listed in the database with a direct equivalency, it has already been evaluated and you do not need to do anything further. If the course is NOT in the database OR it shows "XX-Needs Department Evaluation", please follow the process below.
*Deliberate falsification of data will result in disciplinary action. Please see the Stony Brook University Academic Integrity website for more information.
Transfer Course Evaluation Forms
General
Transfer Course Evaluation Form
- Fill out the Student Section of the Transfer Course Evaluation Form linked below
- Submit to the appropriate Stony Brook Department: 1; this form & 2; a course description/syllabus for the course being evaluated.
- Once completed by the Stony Brook Department, all forms must be submitted to Academic and Transfer Advising Services

- Attach a course description/syllabus for the course being evaluated
Political Science Department

- Fill out Qualtrics form linked below to begin evaluation process
- Provide a course description/syllabus for the course being evaluated
