Spring 2024 - Past Dining News and Updates:
New for 2024 - 2025!
- All students can use their dining dollars at SBU Eats food trucks.
- All students on an unlimited meal plan (Wolfie Deluxe or Wolfie Standard) will have the option to use 54 meal exchanges per semester at Roth Cafe.
- Students on an unlimited meal plan (Wolfie Deluxe or Wolfie Standard) can use TWO takeout meals per day at East Side and West Side dine-in.
Fall 2024 Meal Plan START Dates:
- Dining Dollars active starting Sunday, August 18
- Meal Swipes active starting with dinner on Thursday, August 22
- Meal Exchanges active starting Friday, August 23
Fall 2024 Meal Plan END Dates:
Meal Swipes, Guest Meal Swipes and Meal Exchanges expire on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Remaining balances are forfeited. Dining Dollars rollover from fall to spring.

Ramadan - March 10 through April 9
For guests observing Ramadan, please speak to an SBU Eats dining manager in a red shirt at East Side or West Side dine-in if you’d like to take a meal with you the night before. We will provide continental breakfast and grab n’ go items. All boneless chicken products are certified Halal. Halal hamburgers and hot dogs are available upon request at the grill at dine-in.
East Side dine-in will be open during spring break (March 8 through March 17).
Dining hours at Halal NY at East Side Dining from March 18 through April 9 have been modified to Monday through Friday from 12pm to 8pm.

Christmas Eve Take-Out Boxes (December 24)
SBU Eats locations will be closed on Christmas Day, 12/25. If you are staying on campus, pick up a boxed meal at Cocina Fresca at East Side Dining on 12/24 (open from 11am to 5pm).
East Side Dine-In Closing Early on Monday, December 11
On Monday, December 11, East Side Dine-In will be closing at 7pm to prepare for Midnight Breakfast Camp Out festivities. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we set up. Please join us starting at 10 p.m. for complimentary food, mocktails, and fun activities sponsored by SBU Eats!
