Optimizing Campus Cultural, Athletic, and Facilities Resources Task Force

  • Scope

The scope of work includes:

  • Develop a model that fairly assesses a athletic and cultural events on campus and is able to define their success within the goals assigned to the resources allocated.
  • Use established processes prevalent in industries that regularly review and manage revenue based and programmatic portfolios.
  • Incorporate metrics that measure the impact of events to the campus community broadly, defining success in terms that are not only financial but that can measurably affect the value proposition behind campus resources allocation.
  • Create a mechanism whereby a portfolio review is regularly intervals for ongoing assessment after defined periods.

Objective

The working group will create informative metrics and a model that appropriately defines success for athletic and cultural events on campus that additionally provides a mechanism for iterative portfolio management

Recommended Timeline

Develop and prioritize opportunities with a plan to present recommendations to the Optimizing Campus Cultural, Athletic, and Facilities Resources Task Force by late March.
