University Honors Programs Senior Symposium*

Our seniors from the Honors College and WISE will showcase their thesis poster presentations at our annual University Honors Senior Symposium.
The event will take place in the Union Ballroom and will be split into two sessions. Refreshments will be served.

Join the Chávez, Tubman and Nobel Communities & Join RA Tatiana and RA Sebastian in spreading hope and smiles by creating handmade cards for children facing childhood cancer. During this event, we'll craft heartfelt, colorful messages to lift the spirits of young patients and remind them they are not alone. Whether through a cheerful drawing, an encouraging note, or a simple "thinking of you," every card will deliver love, strength, and joy when it's needed most. This brunch reception is in recognition of Public Service Week, honoring our public servants at all levels of government and law. Join us in the Career Center studio to celebrate our featured alumni who will be highlighted on our Alumni Wall of Wisdom.
Several of our esteemed alum working in government, law, and public service, as well as faculty and staff from the Department of Political Science, will be in attendance and eager to chat with you.

The day of the event races will commence at 1 pm on Friday, May 2nd, 2025. The official theme of this year’s Regatta is Greek Mythology, and adherence to the theme is highly encouraged. Race with your club, organization, or friends, or just come to enjoy the festivities. Free t-shirts and lunch will be given out starting at 12 p.m. Food is provided courtesy of SBUEats!

Join us at the University Scholars De-Stress Fest for a relaxing and fun-filled break from finals preparation! The event will feature a presentation by Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) on relaxation techniques, offering practical tips to reduce stress. You’ll also creative crafts, as well as games to unwind with friends. Plus, you can make your own personalized finals de-stress kit, choosing from snacks, fidget toys, and other soothing items.
