About the Program

This undergraduate exchange program offers students the opportunity to study anthropology, art history, business, economics, history, law, and philosophy taught in English. Additional fields of study include communications, culture, education, fine arts, humanities, Korean language study, literature, political science, psychology, religion, social sciences, and sociology. Korean language study is optional. Participants live in the international dorm on campus or make their own arrangements. Fluent Korean required for direct enrollment in host university courses. Housing in on-campus dormitory or students may make own arrangements. Yonsei University offers many academic programs and gives students the choice to either attend the campus in Sinchon or Wonju. The University makes several provisions for international students including the Global Lounge, a complex that houses the 3500 students from 69 countries.

Additional Information	A Partner University program is a study abroad experience where students are nominated/accepted by Stony Brook University, and enroll at a partner institution. In most cases SBU faculty or staff are NOT traveling with participants.

Program Housing Statement: Stony Brook University is required to comply with the housing policies of the host country, partner institution and/or hotel/hostel. These policies may include requirements such as sex-based housing placement.
