Accounting Associate (FSA)

Position Summary

The Accounting Associate, a crucial and valued team member, is detail-oriented and organized. They are pivotal in supporting various accounting functions, including accounts receivable, cash management, and accounts payable. Their contributions are instrumental in developing and reviewing departmental processes and efficiencies. This role is part of the Union Local 1102 RWDSU, UFCW.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. (In lieu of a degree, a combination of higher education and directly related experience will be considered.)
  • One to two years of experience directly relating to accounting or finance.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively.

  • Eager to learn and grow.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion or ERP Accounting Systems.
  • Experience with month-end close processes.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Experience with accounts receivable, cash management, and accounts payable processes.

Additional Details

    • Salary: Hourly, $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
    • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
